This bed took an entire, nearly empty room to lay out the pieces for assembly. Do not try to assemble this bed in a very small room or cluttered space. There are hundreds of pieces, but the instructions are clear and accurate. The overall design of the bed is excellent and this will serve us well for years to come. we bought this for a guest bedroom, and in less than a week after assembly, my wife has purchased another to replace our master BR bed!
