Seating for my counter-height kitchen table

I ordered these after seeing a similar product in a local store at twice the price. These are obviously from the same manufacturer, although the style of the seat is slightly different. Im using 4 of these stools at my counter-height kitchen table. I needed something contemporary and space-saving, and these looked like an ideal solution at a good price. The stools were very easy to assemble simply insert the hydraulic support into the base, slide the trim ring on, then attach the pole with the footrest to the base of the seat with 4 screws. Make sure to remove the plastic cap from the top of the hydraulic support! This assembly then slides down on top of the hydraulic support. Sitting down on it once locks everything into position, and youre ready to go. As mentioned in other reviews, the instructions are simply one sheet of paper with drawings, but it doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out the installation process. The overall weight of each stool seems very light, but stable. I weight about 250 pounds, and Ive not had any negative experience with the seats. I wouldnt want to sit in one of these all day, but for our needs, they are quite comfortable. I do wish the seat base was a little longer to better support my legs as Im 6 2, which means long legs. Actually, I find the seats more comfortable that I expected. I have no problems recommending these to anyone looking for a contemporary seating choice, particularly for less than $50 per seat. If I have problems with these in the future, Ill update the review accordingly.
