The chaise has a base that isnt attached to the couch so you can reverse the sides and it hasnt slipped away or moved while Ive used it. It looks like a standard Ikea couch at first glance but one of the most comfortable and soft couches Ive ever owned. Great to lounge and nap on. Love this purchase!
