doesnt like to stay up the first few times you sit in it. you have to let it go all the way up, push on it really hard until you hear a ping noise and then gingerly sit on it. if it holds, then you can lower it to whatever position. you cannot raise it halfway and expect it to stay. if you set it at a certain height and just keep it there(what i do) it is fine. if you are expecting to adjust it every time you sit in it, be prepared to mess with it for a few minutes first each time. I am under 150lbs so it doesnt slide down because im too heavy, i would hope its rated for at least 150lbs. white gets marked up and dirty pretty quickly. Needs improvement in quality.
