Review update: the bed arrived without a left side rail lock. I went the manufacturer website and ordered a new pair of rail locks that arrived 2 days later at no charge. I was able to figure out how to assemble the headboard in order to get all the slats lined up evenly. The headboard slat ends need to be glued in before the side pieces are added. The mattress support slats had to be screwed on with a power drill. My daughter helped put it together and it turned out very well. Beautiful color good quality
