beautiful to look at, but not very comfortable for a short person
I absolutely love the cheerful color of this chair. (We purchased it in yellow.) Its very well made, sturdy, was easy to assemble, and looks so nice in our living room. However, when you sit in it the back tilts back just enough (maybe 95/100 degree angle) that I cannot get comfortable. (I am short / 51.) My feet dont touch the floor and when I sit in this chair, my body is tilted back and my head cannot rest comfortably and it feels as if it is pushing the middle of my torso outwards. Its not a good angle for comfort at all. Its uncomfortable for my back, and since my feet dont touch the floor when Im sitting in this chair, I feel like Im going to slide out! Its a very awkward position and the problem could be solved if the back of the chair was made to sit in a more upright position / (a 90 degree angle). The seat cushion itself is of decent quality and in itself is comfortable to sit on. Using the reclining position helps the situation, but still does not work well if you are short! I have to put a bed pillow sitting upright lengthwise behind my back to get comfortable. As pretty as this chair is (and it is a very nice looking chair!), I am stil.
