BEWARE / When purchasing a mattress for this bunkbed, be sure to purchase the full size 8 inch mattress for the bottom. BUT do NOT purchase the 6 inch mattress shows with it. The 6 inch mattress says to buy does NOT fit the top bunkbed. The top needs to be a TWIN size and the 6 inch is a FULL size and will not fit. I ended up getting the 8 inch.
The top mattress doesnt need to fold. Just the bottom needs to fold so that mattress needs to be a futon style mattress. The top needs to be a twin. Its an okay buy
