Pretty sturdy, I cant comment on how assembling goes because my husband put it together and weve been together long enough for me to know not to be near him when he puts things together. I do wish the head board was taller, but the description stated and showed it wasnt very tall to begin with. All in all, this is a pretty good bed frame and easy to move (without mattress) around the room. Comfortable and high quality!
