These are really nice chairs. Im glad I went with the purchase. They are used on the island counter in my kitchen, and really do look good. However, I am somewhat leary about how stable they are if one was to really sit back in a lounging position in them. They feel a little flimsy even when putting your resting weight of your lower back on them. Im not one for tempting fate, so Ive not really tried to put them to the test of sitting back in them for a proed amount of time, but I do get a sense when sitting in them that you probably shouldnt push your luck. Im 511 and 185. They are nice though. Love the color and it was very comfortable
