We actually ordered two of these for our daughters room, ages 10 and 13 since they had outgrown their bunk bed. I looked at several loft beds and loved all the storage under this one. It took us a couple hours to assemble each one but we did them both in the same day. We had no trouble with shipping or assembly. The box was heavy and their room is upstairs so we just opened the box and carried the pieces upstairs.
The beds are exactly what we were looking for. Each girl has her own space and her own desk. One bed does squeak a little bit but not enough to be bothersome.
My only complaint is I wish the side had a cutout at the top of the ladder. Climbing over the top railing to get in the bed is dangerously close to our ceiling fan. I knew that before we ordered them and its still a good fit for us. Lovely for the price
