I will never understand some of these reviews, especially when people say its bigger or smaller than I thought. EVERY item on gives measurements and 24 inches is always 24 inches, never bigger or smallerlearn how to read a tape measure! And if you dont see measurements, either ask or dont buy it. Secondly, everyone should own a drill, even a cheap one, it makes putting things together MUCH easier, so you are not struggling with Allen wrenches. These chairs are packed well and simple to put together, everything lines up and fits and you do NOT need to be a strongman or a mathematician to figure it out. The legs always point outward this is easy to see. It took this 71/year/old man about 15 minutes to put one together. These chairs are sturdy, comfortable, not kid/sized (like some Ikea furniture), are stylish, and have that same gray as many items on and at Ikea. I bought two and they look great in my mid/century modern living room. Good quality.
