This item was a pain to put together, took me about 8 hours. The instructions have no words, only pictures, and the pictures are not very clear as to what to do. The pieces are not numbered or labeled, so you spend the majority of the time guessing which piece is what, only to have to take it a part and put it back together with the correct piece. The shipment came in 4 boxes, the boxes were not numbered so I hadn’t a clue as to where to start. There also were not white plugs to cover up all the screw holes. These screws are gold and stand out on the white bed. Clearly they cover them up in the picture. It is an eyesore. Along with that and the pain of putting it together with the inadequate directions, I say spend a little more and get a better bed.
