Nice desk but open box item was broken (nothing in the description)
The desk is very nice. However I bought an open box item and whoever had it first broke the screw holes that attach the top to the base before sending it back. I had to use wood putty to fill in the holes so that the screws would have something to grab. This fix works fine and secured the top to the base. Just be careful buying open box items because I doubt anyone actually checked the contents before reselling it. If they had, they would not have resold this one.. The description said used like new. I didnt want to return it because I was able to make it work. The desk is nice, it is a great size, not too big or too small. Everything other than the top was easy to assemble and if mine had not been broken it would have been a piece of cake.
