I wanted a chair for my home office that 1) swiveled, 2) had adjustable height, 3) wasnt too narrow, and 4) didnt look like office equipment. This chair checked all the boxes. Arrived the next day!
The adjustable height and swivel work very smoothly. The seat and back are very well cushioned. The cushion is firm, not cozy. The seat is wide! I have big old hips and Ive got lots of extra room. If you wanted to sit Lotus pose in the chair you could.
The feels nice to the touch. It is a warm tweedy beige, with threads of cream, light brown, and a pale cantaloupe color. Overall it reads as a light warm neutral. Looks good with wood floors and white walls.
Some reviews remark that it is difficult to put together. It didnt just snap together, for sure, but at no point was I cursing. The hardest was attaching the seat to the back. I put the seat on a table, then pushed the back against the seat and pushed downward. I couldnt get one of the back screws to set at first. So I started with those that would set and tightened them down PART WAY. This allowed me to put the fourth screw in. Then I just kept going around to each screw tightening until I couldnt anymore.
All put together its comfortable enough, sturdy, and looks like a simple modern chair. Better looking than something I drug home from the office and more comfortable than a dining chair. Very pleased!
Thumbs Up Armless Chair
