Came in 2 boxes, well packaged and labeled. Before beginning assembly, inventoried all parts and hardware to ensure we had everything we needed. Directions for assembly were clear and easy to follow but it still took approximately 4 hours to fully assemble. I was concerned as the wood is quite thin, however once together it is sturdy enough for my 135lb 14yr old to be on top bunk without any issues. Love the extra storage beneath the bed but just know that the drawers dont actually attach to the bed, they just roll under it and theres a catch to prevent them going all the way under.
