I will post an update 6 months from now. As of now my mother loves her chair. The controls are easy to use, which is the main reason I purchased this chair. She is very tiny so reaching for controls on the arm rest would be difficult. The only thing that I would like as an improvement is the material. It is thin and does stretch. Only had it a few weeks and the material on the foot rest has stretched some.
