A handy person was able to put this together in about 2 hours. Definitely would not have been able to do so myself. It is beautiful, shipped quickly, and I especially like that it features knobs on the top to hang items (like my purse or hoodie), and that the footboard is not highif you like to watch TV in bed your view is not blocked. One thing I do wish was that it was feasible to easily string gauzy curtains, tapestries, etc into the canopy poles, as you could fit them just as a curtain rod to give a great draping effect. All in all, great buy! Did not disappoint
