Overall this sofa is comfortable. Truthfully I did not sit on it for long periods so I cant speak to how it would feel long term. The chaise is small in comparison to other chaises. Im 55 and if I sat all the way back my feet would still hang over the edge. Its not terribly wide for a chaise either. My biggest complaint is how low the arm rests are. They are basically nonexistent, and you have to lean over to actually use them.
None of this is to say its a bad sofa but it just wasnt for me. Unfortunately I tried to return it and the return instructions say to put it on the porch, Unassembled and in original packaging. I live in an apartment on the third floor, so I dont have a porch or common area, and we have 2 feet of snow outside. Also, who keeps the original packaging. It was bubble wrap and Saran Wrap that you have to cut off. Just for grins, I messaged and asked if there was another way to do the return. They said they had a specialty service who would come up to my apartment to get it. I thought it was too good to be true, and I was right. I had that scheduled and NO ONE SHOWED UP to get it. I never got a call or any sort of update.
Basically I would say, dont buy this unless you can go to an store and make sure you like it. Because the return process is horrible. Well done, great delivery
