Sturdy, Modern, Easy to Assemble! We recently installed these as two separate beds, as our kids are still a bit young for bunk beds. Instructions werent great, but not awful either. Hardware quality is so-so and they could be labeled better. Dont be like me and use the wrong screws when attaching the side rails with the barrel bolts (woops!); its a pain to take them out and re-do. Having learned from my mistake on the first bed, the second one went much smoother and I assembled it alone, as a pretty small woman, in just under an hour. I did use a power drill for the support slats, but otherwise stuck with the annoying Allen wrench it came with for the rest. Tip: when attaching the side rails, use something about as high as the rails are (such as an ottoman or stacks of books) to prop the rails up while you screw them into the head/footboards. I cant comment on how theyd be as bunk beds, but separately, they are sturdy, quiet, and are great for my Teo young children. Im hopeful well get a good 10 years out of them, if not longer. Heirloom-quality? Probably not. But a great value and a good solution for a kids room theyll eventually move out of.
