Im very impressed with the quality of this bench for the price. It fits together very well and is quite sturdy. But....it was NOT easy to assemble! My husband is exceptionally talented in all things mechanical. It took him 1.5 hours to assemble. There are no directions - just images with letters corresponding to the letters on each part. In the end he finally removed the sides which enabled him to put the last pieces in place. Doing this was not suggested in the the visual instructions. I would recommend this bench but be sure to attempt assembly on a day when you have abundant time and patience!
Update: - Before we assembled this bench we didnt notice that there is an installation video in the list of photos. After watching the video I think it would have made assembling it easier. You would probably have to pause the video frequently, though, as it moves along very quickly.
