I purchased these chairs because I loved the way they looked and that they have soft foam inside the seats. When the chairs arrived, all pof the chairs were wrapped very carefully, nothing was exposed at all, the company took a lot of time making sure nothing would get damaged. kitchen floor, the black matches my appliances. They are easy to get in and out of, you dont have to pull the chairs in and out because you can just swivel to turn and step off. The adjustable up and down seat lever lets you lower yourself to step down if your up high and you just sit back down and pull the lever to raise yourself back up. The chairs give you a nice feel like your sitting at a bar if you enjoy sitting higher up. If you have an adjustable table like I do, you can sit high or I low with these chairs. Very happy with my purchase, feel like I got good quality chairs for a half descent price. Very sturdy and durable
