I have a new and expensive leather sofa. I also have 5 large dogs that I allow on the furniture. The point of this cover was to protect the leather during everyday use. It is perfect. It does collect har; however, it slides right off and into the washer. Now, of this company just made recliner covers I would be set! I believe it had some reviews saying it wears out, but everything wears out.I will simply buy another one!
