Lovely - great quality - a couple tips for assembly

Not your mommas furniture (I would know Im a gramma)... This is a very nice looking cabinet. The finish is the most wood-like of any Ive seen in this type of furniture. Looks like stuff costing many times more. I bought these shorter units intending to use them as a long low area but ultimately decided to stack them and use them in the dining area as a pantry instead of an older cabinet I had in there because they look so nice. Of note on this new generation of units - they finally, finally changed the way the fasteners work! No Cam and Pin on this one! now its a one piece twist-lock and you just tighten the screw, so much better!! A couple of assembly notes. 1. If you intend to stack them, read the entire instruction guide first before putting the second unit together or you will waste work as you will be leaving off the bottom skirt area - it should note this at that point in the instructions but does not. Luckily I am a fan of RTFM and did fine. The top unit is pretty light to put up there without the skirt on it. Do screw them together and use the tip safe device! 2. When you go to put on the doors - I would suggest not doing it the way they state. They want you to put the hinge in the door and then put it onto the cabinet. Its much harder than it has to be. Put the hinge on the cabinet first, then put the door on afterward. Its much easier to hold the door up against the hinge and pop the screws in than to hold the door and hinge and work with the screws in the hinges (which were the only part of the whole process to make me grumble, they are hard to screw in). Ive uploaded a pic of mine stacked in the dining area. If I could change one thing it would be to have the option to buy more shelves easily.
