I never write reviews, but this exceeded my expectations. I buy particle board cabinets rather than solid wood furniture for everywhere but my nicest rooms, knowing that it is going to be flimsy. This is the thickest, most sturdy piece of furniture I have that is not solid wood. I love it because 1. The box it came in was more than usually reinforced - nothing cracked or broken 2. It is thicker and heavier than other particle board. 3. Even the unfinished underside has a protective lacquer that doesnt allow the usual breaking off of pieces from the unfinished areas. 4. The screws, nails and other hardware are separated and labeled in their own pouch, so you dont have to guess from a picture if you have the right size screw. 5. The instructions were not written first in a foreign language and then poorly translated to English. They are easy to understand.
