Follow the instructions step by step but dont believe the assembly time of 45 mins
It took my husband and I about 6/7 hours to put this together. We did have to undo a step because we got ahead of ourselves and didnt stick with the instructions so we learned early on to follow them exactly. Seems sturdy enough
