Thankfully I didnt assemble myself because it did take a while and instructions arent the best. In the end I really like the finished product and feels like it will last for a good 4 years. Added the lights and it made it what I wanted it to be. My little one LOVES it and finally wants to sleep in her bed. Heck, I even sleep there with her and Im 510. Long enough to fit me comfortable so definitely going to be comfortable for your little ones. Stylish yet affordable
