I ordered two of these to store all of our homeschool and craft supplies. I was a little hesitant based on some of the reviews and the fact that it has the center board separating the shelves. So I figured i wouldnt be able to fit as much. However I figured I would give it a shot anyways. I was pleasantly surprised once I finished putting them together. I was able to put an entire cabinet together in about 1 hr and 50 minutes by myself (51 135lb woman), granted I probably wouldve finished faster had I not been watching netflix while building. Ive built a lot of furniture over the years though. So it typically doesnt take me a super long time. The doors were a little difficult to put on for just one person. I had to use my feet to hold the door up while screwing them in. So you might want another person to help hold the doors and adjust them as needed, but it can be done by one person. A lot of reviews say that the doors line up uneven, but if you unscrew the center screw of the door hinges it brings thst portion of the door back flush with the side of the cabinet. Tighten to move it closer to the center(hopefully that makes sense). You just adjust those as needed until the doors line up. Unscrewing the center screw a bunch doesnt affect the hinges ability to hang as its held up by the 3 attached to the cabinet and the 2 attached to the doors.
My only complaint is that the trim that lines the cabinet is actually on both the outside and the inside of the side pieces. While the trim on the outside makes the cabinet look nicer, it serves no purpose being on the inside and only hinders what you can put against the walls in the cabinet. What I mean by that is when you put the shelves in, there is a small opening on the sides. So thin books/folders will slide down through. But if you put thicker books or something else thicker than the opening on the sides and the thinner stuff in the center of the shelves its not a problem. Its not like its a huge gap, but again wide enough that a folder or thinner book can fall through it.
All in all, I am very pleased with them! They look great and surprisingly hold a lot.
I will upload pictures tomorrow when theres better lighting. Great. Very good. Recommended.
