This is a fairly solid tv stand. I really think that the manufacturer could had made it slightly taller and given it a little more depth for the cost of the unit. In addition of this stand being easy to assemble, the screws do not quite lineup totally on one side and there is a bit of quality lacking in the design and cut of the materials. So, I hope that it will hold up and keep my tv safe. I would be returning
