I purchased this for my todlers birthday. I assembled it and performed a test run and everything worked great. Unfortunately, on the the day of her birthday the remote control was completely dead. I ran to purchase more batteries. No luck, just dead. Although my daughter was excited to see it, she is too young to operate it independently and the non functioning remote lead to a sad birthday girl and a frustrated dad. Update- the vendor was very quick with replacing the remote and I have had no further issues.
