Our first sign that it was solid wood: the box was heavy as HELL! Lol it was very fun getting that thing up to my third floor apartment. My boyfriend struggled a bit putting it together (which may have been user error, not the bed itself...) but we eventually got it put together. It looks very sleek and classy, and has held up well. Now that my BF and I just bought our first home together, were keeping his bed and will probably try to sell mine. That photo is of the frame today, after 1.5yrs of use. Still looks great!
