Bought this bed for our 9 year old. If you dont have two adults and a drill to put this together, it could take forever to assemble. I could not carry the box inside by myself. It took me and my husband two hours, with a drill to assemble. Follow the directions! But once we got it put up, its VERY sturdy and she loves it. Its very tall, like a bunk bed. You will need a smaller mattress like under 6 to ensure they dont roll out. But overall, very pleased with this purchase! Nice looking.
