Its pretty big, surprisingly
My ferret loves his play pen! Its pretty big, surprisingly. Twelve square feet doesnt play around! And the panels are heavy enough that he cant lift them up or push them. I definitely recommend this for anyone with a small critter who needs a little extra space.

Update: I have had these playpens for 6 years. They still work and I havent found any better on the market. One spot the welding did break free and so we now check each joint to be sure we dont have any ferrets break free. I cant say Ive treated these well but theyre still holding up. I bought two of these to take my ferrets or chinchilla outside and let them run in the grass without worrying about them getting out of a harness and bolting. They are perfect for this. I searched for a long time before deciding on this product. It is well built and extremely easy to put together. The bars have perfect spacing, and is too tall between horizontal bars for my weasels to get up and over. Although, they hardly even try because there is so much space when I combine the two together that they dont mind being enclosed. My favorite pass time in the summer is setting this up and sitting inside of it with the ferrets and reading a book as they run around and dig. I typically put some toys and tubes inside and they have the best time! I would buy over and over. The only thing Im not crazy about, it is quite heavy and awkward to carry. Bringing it in and out can be annoying. But hey, it is what we do to keep our furbabies happy!
