Very well constructed bed. Worth the price. But it still works great.
Very nice and sturdy
Very nice and easy to put together. I got this for my preteen and wanted something to last until he left the house. We set it up as a couch during the day so he and his buddies can lounge and play their video games. In the evening he has a very nice bed. Could be little cheaper.

Great modern bed for the price!
Im using the daybed as a couch/guest bed. The daybed seems to be fairly sturdy but Ill report back later once my 4 yr old gets a hold of it. Its easy to assemble even though the instructions arent that detailed. PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE PICTURES WHEN YOU PUT THE LEGS OR ELSE YOU WILL SCREW IT IN WRONG. Also, I suggest waiting to tighten all the screws until you put the lower, front board on, or it will be hard to fit. My biggest gripe is that the manufacturer but the label on the back of the bed so if its not against the wall you will see it. Otherwise, the bed looks great! Buy It.
Beautiful look at a great price
This looks really great. It is much taller than I expected, so we are going to cut the legs down. I got this in place of a loveseat for my living room, because we wanted something with more room and comfort for my spoiled dogs. Yes, you read that right. I just bought the most expensive dog bed ever. I mean, it doubles as extra seating when we have guests, or as a bed. I added a mattress protector, put sheets on top, and wrapped it in a grey blanket to keep the hair out of the mattress. Bought the comfiest mattress for it, and honestly its as comfortable as my expensive kind sized bed. I purchased some king sized pillows for it, with matching pillow cases and some decorative pillows, making it look just like a oversized loveseat. Im really happy with this purchase. Fits.
Instructions did not match
I got as far as step three putting this futon together when I ran into trouble. My hardware did not match the holes. I called customer service and they were quite helpful. Turns out I had the wrong version of the instructions. Customer service was able to help me right away over the phone. There was still one hole that was offset on a different piece of the daybed but I dont think it will affect the rest of the daybed. Yes please!
Assemble this in the room you want it in!
Its a fairly sturdy bed. Unfortunately, once this is assembled it will need to be disassembled before moving it through a standard door frame so assemble it in the room it will be in. Pay close attention to the directions on how to put on the slats.. the plastic pieces break easily so you cant pull them out and put them back. Also the twin mattress I bought for it is just a few inches too small so theres about a 3 inch gap on the side. Worked for my use.
Great for price
Great for the price. Pretty easy to put together, though the directions can be a little ambiguous at some points. Ive had this for a few weeks and had no problems. It looks great and functions well. Very helpful.
Instructions incorrect!
The instructions for attaching the hinges are incorrect. Install them upside down to what the instructions say, otherwise they wont line up or function correctly. This was not the easiest piece to put together. Ive assembled my fair share of Ikea furniture and this was a bit more complex; the instructions being wrong made the assembly take longer. With two people it took well over an hour. It looks nice. Will see how well it holds up over time. A 6 or 7 inch mattress will give you the most exposure of the sides (so it will look most like a couch). Very compact.
